Those of us who have surpassed the age of 40 can attest to the fact that as we age, our skin undergoes many changes. I have passed that age, and to tell on myself, I am half of that more years old as well.
Never one to bother much about my skin, today I reckon with the damage of poor skin care choices in my youth. Let’s not talk about summers walking on hot asphalt to spend glorious days taking in hours of sunshine, completely oblivious to my future appearance. Now, my pedicures include what my husband refers to as a “cheese grater” to deal with the calluses on my feet! But the real effect of those carefree summers is particularly evident on my face where fine lines and wrinkles are evident.
Four months ago I was given Eternite Elixir to try. It came in a neat, dark glass bottle with an expensive, reliable dropper. Contrary to my initial thought, it has lasted well and I still have half a bottle. A dime-size amount goes a long way. There is no such thing as erasing all the effects of my care-as-I-may former self, but I have noticed vast improvement with daily use. I decided to look into why this product is so great for me.
After speaking with the creator at Pipe Creek Soap Company, I learned that three key ingredients in the elixir are primarily responsible for combatting the loss of elastin, tightening my skin, and reducing those dreaded “age spots.” In fact, Eternite Elixir oil offers the perfect formulation for older skin.

A trifecta of main active ingredients create a soothing and super hydrating serum, which absorbs effortlessly into the skin. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (a potent form of Vitamin C), Kukui Nut Oil, and Olive-Derived Squalane are expertly balanced to reverse oxidative damage for all types of skin, and is especially good to combat the signs of aging.
Vitamin C has many healing properties. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vit C) has demonstrated superior stability and skin penetration compared to traditional ascorbic acid. This highly effective form combats the appearance of dark spots, stimulates collagen production, and provides antioxidant protection with the greatest efficacy. The elixir is balanced with an ester compound for a lightweight product that absorbs quickly.
Another star performer, Kukui Nut Oil, locks in nourishment and moisturizes the skin. This centuries-old Hawaiian secret is packed with essential fatty acids, vitamins A, C, and E, and antioxidants. Furthermore, Kukui nut oil helps repair the skin barrier, won’t leave a greasy residue like some other oils, and reduces inflammation and redness–perfect for irritated or sun-damaged skin.
The third active ingredient is the hydration from olive-derived Squalane, which hydrates the skin by mimicking the skin’s natural sebum, so it’s not greasy and will not clog your pores. Although lightweight, squalane is a powerhouse of effective emollients that work with the skin’s natural oils to boost skin elasticity. The creator of Eternite Elixir only uses holistic and sustainable squalane derived from olives for purity.
Ultimately, the true test is with daily use. It is perfect to apply twice daily.
Applying the serum feels lovely, as the oil bathes the skin without any heaviness. It only takes a few drops and massages in quickly with no oily feel.
After only a few weeks I noticed those fine lines and wrinkles were diminished.
My skin is brighter and looks healthier.
I can’t say I’ve completely reformed my ways. I still like to get out in the sunshine and enjoy my garden. Of course I try to remember to wear a hat. And I know that I can enjoy the outdoors with assurance that I’m protecting my face and giving it what it needs, without harsh chemicals, just three effective and luxurious ingredients I feel good about.
